Zilch: Pay over time 4+

Couldn’t be happier

I’m never one to write reviews but this Zilch is so good I just had to write one! I signed up for Zilch 4 days ago, was given a £100 limit, had no idea on how to use it correctly, I know it’s a virtual card and I can use this as a debit card anywhere as well as online. So I wanted to test it out and used it for “pay in 4” at my post office when I sent off a package for £33. It easily deducted approx £8 I was so impressed. When I came home I decided to pay the remaining balance off as I didn’t want it hanging over me, within minutes of me paying off the balance I was given another £100 limit, so £200 altogether, I called customer service to ask how this happened (not that I’m complaining!) they agent told me that because I paid off so early it helped me boost my credit limit!!! This is a wonderful service and it’s so good for emergencies or when your low on funds before payday and you need to get something. This truly is amazing and I look forward to my credit increase because I’m very good with keeping to payments etc. Thanks Zilch!!

This app does not work

I have been trying to purchase something from this app since last year. I have put all the correct information including my debit card details when I press the continue button it comes up with oops try again I’ve tried several times I’ve contacted the CallCenter several times they tell me to wait three days three days later I receive an email saying it’s been fixed and it hasn’t not been fixed again the other day I called up they said they were going to contact me in three days I receive a text saying it’s been fixed I’ve sent a reply back letting them know many many times that is still not working and it’s still the same problem it’s not linking my debit card all it saysThe same thing (opps something gone wrong)and then it’s back to square one again. I am not the only one with this problem several people have told me that they have the same problem they cannot purchase an order because It won’t link the debit card and when they contact the call centre they are told the same thing . I have called the CallCenter many many times i receive a text saying they are looking into the issue three days later they say it’s fixed since last year I’ll be ttying to use this app up until the other day I said them text back Or call them back and tell them it’s still not fixed and they I said don’t worry we’ll fix the problem and it’s still not fixed i give up !!!

Avoid

I downloaded this app back when it first opened getting the cash back for sharing and other people signing up. Then issues started arising when it wouldn’t let me update my payment methods. They then sent me a message telling me that’s they’ve tried many many times to help me update my payment method which isn’t true I don’t have any emails which I can gladly show people that’s there only an email from them saying that they’ve transferred me over to a debt collector for £25! £25 can you believe me 😂, the debt collector sent me an email and I’ve paid the £25 straight away with no issues whatsoever, the issue was the app and the people who work for Zilch itself, being rude and ignorant, not helping me update my payment method to make this payment telling me to use the old payment method even though my card needed updating because it expires after a certain amount of time which they should of known. I only used the app to mess about with it and see what it was all about. Clearly has brought nothing but issues so I’ll stick to buying things outright. Please just be careful guys, if you’re not finically in a good position then you’ll most likely get scammed by them, not be able to make payments and then end up with a credit score saying you have tons of debts and debt collectors harassing you.
